Resume- Sara Fox

Some things that are very helpful when writing a resume would be any type of leadership positions that you might have held. For example, in high school I was the president of club sandwich and I was a kairos retreat leader my senior year. Another beneficiary to a resume would be any awards you were given or any personal achievements that you were given in high school, whether it be for sports, academics, or fine arts. I received a couple high school awards that could be beneficial for people to know about me. You should basically put anything that shows you to be a well rounded responsible person who would be good for the job you are applying to.
Resources around campus that would help build your resume could be any of the club fairs that have happened over the past few weeks or any opportunities you receive via email to get involved in the college community. I went to the journalism fair a couple weeks ago and was able to see some of the clubs that you can join if you're interested enough, and I have received a couple emails from people talking about things going on that would be interesting and good for your resume.
I have already joined a couple things in college and become involved, but I hope to do more eventually. I joined the Greek organization by becoming a part of the alpha chi omega house, and with that I have been exposed to multiple volunteer opportunities and been given the chance to partake in some philanthropy organizations. Being a part of this has actually helped alot because I have been able to meet older girls who are doing the same major that I want to do, and they have been very helpful in pointing me in the right direction of clubs and organizations. Another thing that I hope to join is the komu team because that would allow me to experience my possible major and see if it's something that I'm really interested in pursuing.
