A resume should have everything and anything you think is worth telling. Even if the position is not a leadership position I think it is still important because you showed dedication thru participation. Some companies look for specifics in resumes so it is best to list all because you never know what can make you stand out compared to your peers.
I attended two high schools, one freshman year and the other sophomore thru senior year. As a freshman, I was still adjusting to the high school and the workload so I did not join that many organizations. I did although join the track team and helped win a conference title. That was a great experience for me because I met a lot of nice people and observed what it was like to be a leader. I took that experience with me as I went to my other high school. There I joined PALs which was an leadership group who assisted incoming freshman, became a peer mentor, ran track, tutored and also worked 20 hours a week. I attempted to average a3.0 but I came close.
Here at Mizzou, I plan on joining ASA, which is an organization for African students. Through this I hope to meet new people and see what the organization has to offer. I also plan to join the Psychology club, since that is my major. This should be beneficial to me because I can find people to study with and learn a thing or two. My only fear would be trying to keep a balance with school, organizations and work. I think if I work hard enough, everything should fall right into place
