Involvement in activities on campus is a great resource to put on resumes.  At the University of Missouri, I am already involved in the greek life organization here on campus.  I want to become involved in many other activities besides just my sorority here at the university.  I have noticed that there are many things to become a part of here and that there are endless opportunities to get involved.  One thing i want to become involved in here is the dentistry club.  The dentistry club would be a great thing to be able to put on my resume because i want to eventually get into dentistry school once i have graduated with an undergraduate degree.  The dentistry club is a resource here on campus that is an outlet for aspiring dentistry students to be  able to participate in what may eventually become their career.  The dentistry club would be a helpful resource when i am trying to apply to graduate school and could be an interesting point on my resume that would help me to stand out.  

I was very involved in high school and I was able to put a lot of the things that I was involved with on my resume.  I think it is important to have some kind of extracurricular activity on a resume because it shows how that person can be very active after school hours and still keep up good grades.  Extracurricular activities show flexibility and also can convey how responsible a person is.  I played many sports that I kept up all throughout high school so that was important for me to include on my resume.  I also think participation in clubs or organizations in high school is a great thing to include on a resume because it shows leadership.  Student council was important for me to have on my resume because it helped to show that I was able to be a leader and still keep good grades in classes.
