Jessica Hughes blog post 2

In high school I was apart of the Track and Field team all four years.  I was involved in a service club where I attended different service sites each quarter. On top of those I was the editor of my school's yearbook where I learned great leadership skills.  I was appointed a staff, had to hold weekly meetings, and be prepared to make our deadlines.  From being so active in high school it made things that much more easier to get involved in college.

Already I have joined the Alpha Delta Pi sorority where we volunteer most of our time and efforts to the Ronald McDonald House, amongst other philanthropies.  I plan to join the volunteer organization United Way as well.  As being a part of United Way I figure it will be something good to add to my resume seeing as it is nationally known.  Since I am a psychology major I have joined one of the psychology clubs where they have speakers/researchers come in and talk to us.  I believe that will be a good way to meet more people in my field.
