I want to study abroad so bad. Mostly, I want to study abroad so I have the chance to see the world and get a flavor for how journalism works in other countries. My top two choices in where I want to study abroad are: Paris, France and London, England. These two locations also happen to be at the top of my sight-seeing list section of my bucket list. So, if I am able to accomplish getting to travel the world, improving my resume and getting real-world education on journalism then I believe I have accomplished a lot in my life in just a short amount of time. Also, not only do I want to study abroad in France and England because I really love the countries, but I want to have a French minor and so I want to be able to use my French in French-speaking countries like France, so if I don't end up studying abroad in France at least England is close to France.
My questions:
1.) When should I start researching study abroad locations?
2.) When should I start applying for programs once I know what I want?
3.) How long does the whole process take overall?
4.) How much does it generally cost to study abroad?
5.) Can I apply for study abroad financial aid even if I don't have financial aid at Mizzou?
