I've been thinking about studying abroad because I think that learning while immersing myself in a completely different lifestyle and society than my own could be beneficial to my college experience. If I do study abroad, I would love to spend a semester as an exchange student or working at an internship in London. I've always wanted to visit, and being able to go there and experience the city while also fulfilling school requirements seems like a win-win situation. Not only would I be learning, but I'd also be expanding my horizons by putting myself into another city, another country...another culture. With that being said, the only aspects I'm possibly concerned about are making sure that I fulfill enough credits for my journalism degree and also how much it would cost to be able to go. My questions would be as follows.
1. What is the estimated cost of studying abroad?
2. What semester should I expect to study abroad?
3. Which is more beneficial, the exchange student program or the internship program?
4. Will I fulfill enough credits for my degree by studying abroad?
